How are you going to prevent damage caused during shipping?

 

Shipping containers have MOISTURE and WATER building up inside them. The heat causes CONDENSATION and it drips down causing it to rain all over your shipment!

 

So what are you supposed to do about it?

  1. Use desiccants!
  2. Cover your goods with VCI or Barrier foil
  3. Use desiccants!
  4. Put your goods in a wooden box
  5. Use desiccants!
  6. Keep it in an airtight package

UBEECO – NATIONAL MANUFACTURING WEEK 2012

<h1> UBEECO NATIONAL MANUFACTURING WEEK 2012 </h1>

National Manufacturing Week commences this week, Tuesday May 8th 2012

 

This is the first year UBEECO Packaging Solutions will be exhibiting at NMW and we’re proudly sponsoring the Materials Handling Zone that we’re exhibiting in.

<h1> UBEECO NATIONAL MANUFACTURING WEEK 2012 </h1>

We saw NMW as an opportunity for our business to showcase the Crate Packing Services that we conduct. After all with so many manufacturers being on exhibit, we’re bound to have the right people come past…. well at least thats whats we’re hoping.

 

In building the stand we wanted to take advantage of the skills we have within our business by designing and building it ourselves. This is not even close to something we’d normally take on, but each individual part of the stand are products we regularly make. We’ve got miniature versions of Wooden Boxes (Cases and Crates) in Plywood and timber, We have Wooden Pallets and Skids, we’ve even got mini rolls of our Rust Prevention products. So even though we’re not in the business of building tradeshow stands, we’re in the business of building and selling all of the products that have bought this stand together.

 

Tomorrow (Monday) is set up day. We’ve got everything onsite in our space at stand 7404 ready to get going. I was tempted to post images of the progressive mock ups we’ve had but the truth is, we still have seen it all put together yet. There’s seems to be an ever growing list of “we’ll leave it till we’re there”. So the progressive shots will need to wait and might come in the form of a video clip on Monday night.

 

There is no doubt we’ve thought of everything that we think we need, but we won’t know the reality of that until the end of day 1. In any case we look forward to seeing it all come together, and more importantly, we’re looking forward to meeting new people to network with and discuss some new opportunities.

 

If you’re thinking of coming to the show, it starts on Tuesday and goes to Friday and it’s open till late on Thursday night…. Make sure you swing by our stand in the UBEECO Materials Handling Section at booth number 7014 we’d love to say hi!
